Privacy Policy
DateSolved creates one personalised date from your answers. No account is required, and we deliberately collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Your quiz answers: where you want to spend the evening, budget, time, mood, how long you've been together, and your conversation/activity preference.
- A free-text field about what you both enjoy. This is optional, you can skip it.
- The generated date plan and its state (started, completed).
- The fact that a payment was made. We never see or store card details, Stripe handles those.
- Technical data: a hashed value of your IP address for abuse prevention, ad source tags (UTM), and Meta advertising identifiers from cookies (_fbp, _fbc) if you arrived from an ad. They are used only to attribute the purchase to the right campaign.
- Your feedback, if you choose to leave it.
- The email address you enter before payment: we use it to send you the date you bought, so you can play later or run it again.
What we use it for
- Creating your date. It cannot be done without your answers.
- Processing payment and restoring access if you closed the window or reloaded.
- Understanding where people drop off, so the product can improve.
- Measuring whether advertising works.
What we don't do
- We do not send your free-text interests or feedback text to Meta or any other ad platform. This boundary is enforced in the code itself.
- We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or date of birth.
- We do not sell data.
Who we share with
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Anthropic: generating the date text from your answers.
- Supabase: data storage (EU servers).
- Resend: sending and receiving email (EU servers).
- PostHog: product analytics (EU servers).
- Meta: aggregate conversion data for ad measurement, with no free text.
How long we keep it
- Date sessions and feedback are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised.
- Payment records are retained by Stripe under their own and statutory requirements.
Your rights
- You have the right to access, correct or delete your data.
- Email labas@datesolved.lt with your date link and we can find the record.
- You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
